summary of the entire research
i talked about the falcon a very good hunter which i loved so much because of its magnificent exterior. one thing i did not say was it was a bird that willl actually eat other predatory birds if it is a young one or it is smaller in size as it might think of them as food.the hawk is also the same as the falcon but in appearence it has a hooked beak so prey cannot escape when it is in its mouth and also causes it to die of excessive bleeding if it struggles too much, the wound will get bigger and deeper so more blood and organs are hurt in the process ultimately tearing it in half if it really struggles for a long long time.My 3rd article was about the whole of chek jawa but only mentioned my own experiences there which was very much what i could remember and what i mostly observed most of the time i was there.
my research on chek jawa itself
i had just been to chek jawa during the holidays with my groupmates and finally.
information i found off the internet courtesy of wikipedia:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chek_Jawa
Tanjong Chek Jawa (or Tanjung Chek Jawa or simply Chek Jawa; Chinese: 仄爪哇) is a cape and the name of its 100-hectare wetlands located on the south-eastern tip of Pulau Ubin, an island off the north-eastern coast of the main island of Singapore. Chek Jawa is among the last few places left with a natural rocky shore.
The wetlands are unique as several ecosystems can be observed in one area — sandy beach, rocky beach, seagrass lagoon, coral rubble, mangroves and coastal forest.[1]
In December 2001, the government decided to call off reclamation plans of the Chek Jawa area after a biodiversity survey conducted by conservationist volunteers. State use of the land will be deferred for the next 10 years. However, Chek Jawa may still be re-used by the government in and after 2012.Sadly it will only be 2 years more to enjoy this magnificent nature reserve we have left in singapore.
Reflection on my visit there:
well i loved the greenery and animals i have seen. i really have not seen something like this since i went to a nature reserve in africa when i was 10.My favourite scene was when a hawk was hunting and a falcon was trying to rip it out of the sky with its menacing claws. i did not like the part when the blood splattered when the falcon lacerated the hawk's wing which was not a pretty sight but overall it was exhilarating experience i really enjoyed.

second part of research
i have found out about my favourite animal there the falcon in the first article.now i have found more information on th second most favourite animal that lives there, the hawk!
what i have found:
it has a long tail for good turning in the air and also to up its altitude when in the air.
has large wingspan also to be able to recover from a dive to catch ts prey on its ground or leave the ground as fast as possible to quickly capture it again.
Some information i have found off the internet:
The Sharp-shinned Hawk (Accipiter striatus) is a small hawk. In fact, "sharp-shins" are the smallest to reside in USA and Canada, though some Neotropical species are smaller (notably the aptly named Tiny Hawk). The taxonomy is far from resolved, with some authorities considering the southern taxa three separate species: White-breasted Hawk (A. chionogaster), Plain-breasted Hawk (A. ventralis) and Rufous-thighed Hawk (A. erythronemius).
My Reflection on this animal:
i love this amazing animal i have seen it in action when i went to chek jawa during the holidays and it was hunting for fish.it missed but quickly caught it again with its talons sharp as knives.i truely think its a respectable yet vicious predator that keeps the ecosystem there in check especially on the pest population like the rats that terrorise homes for food in chek jawa.

Research on Chek Jawa so far
so I have found out some cool facts about chek jaw like how a bird i have never thought to actually live here in singapore,a few species of falcon which mostly live in the western countries that actually live here! I have researched on it and found some results and what are the falcons there live in chek jawa which i will mention about my favourite, the brown falcon although it looks quite plain,it is still a very good hunting bird.
The Brown Falcon, this is its Latin name, Falco berigora, is a member of the falcon genus found in the drier regions of Australia. Even though it is as large as the largest falcon, it usually hunts smaller prey. The Brown Falcon usually nests in old nests abandoned by other birds. it actually also occupies a large area of inland Australia. The maximum length a Brown Falcon can grow is about 45 cm in length.Although it is in the least concerned about in its numbers around the world,it still does not mean we can take it for granted n hunt it like other endangerd species of falcon.I have 1 other species of falcon which were hunted to extinction like the American pergerine falcon, there is not only one species of peregrine falcon.
Theres also the tundra peregrine ,peales pergerine and the artic peregrine. This tells me not to take any animal for granted.
